General FAQs
Spring 2026 Registration: November 15 - December 13
We wanted to take a moment to answer a few of the most common questions we’ve received!
🗓️ Little League Age:
Your player’s Little League age is their age as of August 31, 2026.
👶 T-Ball Age Requirement:
Starting last spring, BLL now requires all T-Ball players to be Little League age 5 (born on or before 8/31/2021).
In previous seasons, we found that allowing 3- and 4-year-olds led to maturity gaps that affected the overall experience. This change has been very successful, and we’ll continue this policy moving forward.
📧 Playing Down or Up:
We understand some families would like their player placed in a different division.
If you’d like to make this request, please register for the age-appropriate division first, then email VPBaseball@bellairelittleleague.org with your request.
While we believe strongly in age-appropriate play, exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Feedback from prior coaches will be reviewed, and no decisions will be made until registration is complete.
Please note that players requesting to move divisions may need to attend evaluations for both divisions, and requests cannot be honored if the desired league fills up.
🏠 Residency & Eligibility:
You do not need to submit proof of residency at registration.
School attendance eligibility forms are only required if your player lives outside our boundaries and was born on or before 8/31/2018.
For additional registration questions, please contact registrar@bellairelittleleague.org.
We can’t wait to kick off another amazing season of Bellaire Little League baseball! ❤️⚾️

How to Get Involved FAQs
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Bellaire Little League!
Click Here for more information or email concessions@bellairelittleleague.org with any questions.
We LOVE our volunteers! Bellaire Little League runs on the support of parents, siblings, and friends who step in when needed.
Little League is a team sport—on and off the field. Managers and coaches are parents like you, with jobs and busy schedules. At the start of each season, your manager will need your help to make the season great for every player. See all Parent Volunteer Roles at bellairell.org/volunteer and let your manager know how you’ll pitch in!
Got a high baseball IQ? Coached before? Know great drills or positions? You don’t need to be an assistant coach—just let your manager know you’re available for tips or questions.
