History of Bellaire Little League

Bellaire Little League was founded in 1953.  Over its seven decades of history, the league has become a community institution that emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and player development.

2000 Little League World Series Team

Bellaire’s All-Stars made history in 2000, winning District, State, and Regional titles to reach Williamsport. They captured the U.S. championship before falling to Sierra Maestra Little League of Maracaibo, Venezuela, in the World Series Championship game 3-2. The run united the community and is still honored on Bellaire’s water tower.
